The Gaylord Rockies Review [Resort in Denver Area]

We just got back from a family road trip to Colorado. It is a beautiful state with such a variety of geography from wide open plains to vast mountain ranges to red rocks and mesas. When we added Denver to our list of places to stop, I began researching hotels in the Denver area and I came across the Gaylord Rockies. Immediately, I knew we had to stay there. I was already familiar with Gaylord Opryland and I know they do everything in a fabulous way- from lodging, to food, to entertainment! I was provided with accommodations in order to facilitate my review.

It is an upscale setting for families and business clientele to be able to relax and unwind, have fun, and even get stuff done if you need to.

Outdoor Private Cabanas are available for rent from May through September. We got a half day rental of a Cabana and I have to say that I felt like a queen while I relaxed in the shade, enjoyed the Rocky Mountains views, watched the Olympics on our private cabana TV, and joined the kids in a few trips around the lazy river. Cabana guests also get a waiter who provides food and beverage service from Arapahoe Springs Bar & Grill. Speaking of places to eat…

There are eight Gaylord Rockies restaurants to enjoy from simple grab and go fare to a high quality Steakhouse restaurant.
